May 22, 2025 - Pre-Established Positionality [Philosophy]

This essay deals with the pre-conscious sense of language. Jean-Luc Nancy's text is critically analyzed to uncover a language-world that is outside the bounds of the 'real' world prescribed by him. Monadology is transfigured into a language-phenomena; that is, the monadology of Leibniz authentically describes language as individual substance. Language-sense is named a pre-established positionality whereby language participates in the creation of positionalities, or meaningful localities of presence. These positionalities are shown to constitute subjectivity.

July 7, 2025 - A Walk Through Fichte's Wissenschaftslehre [Philosophy]

I will make a YouTube video series going through Fichte's "Foundation of the Entire Wissenschafteslehre," translated and edited by Daniel Breazeale. Fichte is a particularly important figure because he attempts to describe the internal constitution of the 'I' in its absolute condition, that is, its condition of fundamental self-sameness. It is from this point where Fichte claims a science of sciences, a foundational science, can be erected. The commentary will attempt to not only provide an understanding of Fichte's project, but to also find ways where the spirit of the work can be transformed and kept alive.
